Survey Crew We are in need of Survey Crew to assist the Crew Chief in the following surveys, but not limited to: Aerial Mapping (sUAS) ALTA's As Built Design Bathymetric (Hydrology) Boundary Construction Control Dedications Highway, Bridge & Overpass Mobile Mapping (ATV) Mortgage Location Oil/Gas Layout Pre-Design Site Surveys Right-of-Way Topographic Annexations/Vacations Volumetric Water & Sewer We also travel quite a bit for up to a week at a time (quarterly) doing topographic / volumetric work & like to rotate people. You'll be there to help drive & to learn this part of our company. Travel is REQUIRED. Some Land Survey knowledge is required. This is a physically demanding position. Survey Crew Chief We are in need of Survey Crew Chief: Duties and Responsibilities: Manage 2-4 survey crew to complete field survey tasks Efficient operation of the field crew using standard operating procedures Operating total station, GPS receivers, data collector, etc. Survey calculations, analysis, and final map checking Take detailed notes and diagrams, cut brush, drive stakes Maintain company equipment and survey vehicles Capable of performing basic calculations utilizing calculator or supplied data collectors Working knowledge of uploading and downloading digital files with computer skills Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Surveying/Mapping Skilled in the use of GPS devices, Total Stations, Data Collectors, etc. Proficiency in computer aided drafting (CAD) applications Ability to work independently and collaboratively Knowledge of the principles, techniques and practices of land surveying Ability to work long hours outdoors under various field conditions Ability to travel for up to 5 days at a time Valid Driver’s License Surveys include but not limited to: Aerial Mapping (sUAS) ALTA's As Built Design Bathymetric (Hydrology) Boundary Construction Control Dedications Highway, Bridge & Overpass Mobile Mapping (ATV) Mortgage Location Oil/Gas Layout Pre-Design Site Surveys Right-of-Way Topographic Annexations/Vacations Volumetric Water & Sewer We are a small family owned Professional Surveying company established in 1991.
